TERRA (July 25 - November 7, 2026) explores one’s experience of nature through the eyes of thirty of the state’s leading landscape artists. This major survey exhibition focuses on artists inspired by wild spaces untouched by development.  National parks, ocean fronts, mountain hollers and wetland retreats are evoked in paintings, works on paper, and fiber art. Associated programs explore themes such the notion of public land and role of parks and national monuments in the survival of ecosystems with artist talks and lectures by guest speakers. Collaborations with The Piedmont Land Conservancy and Dance Project will enhance visitors’ understanding of our essential connection to the land.

Art Market!

hello

I am a self-employed artist hoping to share with others my take on the world around me.  I have always been a creator but painting began for me in 20018.  I am a co-owner of the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts and I love to exhibit at regional juried exhibitions.  I also enjoy doing a couple art markets annually to get out and get to know more of the community.  Interested in more?  Check out my About tab.

Ever Experimental

If astrology is your thing, then knowing I am a Sagittarius will give you some insight in my creative process.  I thrive off of change.  I also really am drawn to challenge and problem solving.  Beyond the beauty of the medium, I think that watercolor's tricky nature is what drew me to it.  My approach to art has landed on going with my instinct, wherever that takes me.  That's usually somewhere different everyday. :)
